Instead of a clean, rigid shade, The Abaca Tassel Pendant lets the fibre fall freely. Made from abaca grass, its small hanging form is finished with loose tassels that create texture around the light and give the pendant a softer outline.
Its scale works well where a room needs detail rather than a large ceiling statement, such as above a bedside table, in a reading corner, near a kitchen nook, or within a compact hallway. The tassels catch the light in fine lines, adding shadow and movement around the shade.
Because each pendant is made by hand from natural abaca, small differences in tone, fibre direction, tassel length, and shape may appear. Keep it clean with gentle dusting or a soft brush, and avoid excess moisture, harsh cleaners, direct heat, and prolonged sunlight.
